I am not sure it is good or bad like a lot of things there are mixed opinions. What kind of PH's are you using? I use CAPS and Maxi's both come with attachments that allow you to inject air into the tank. I keep mine capped off and don't have a problem with air.

I use Maxi head 600's (2). I put phosphate pads on the intake of the power heads... maybe this is my problem. Although I've been doing it for months now...

i use maxi 1200 and they don't kick ait into my tank at all. i just have the screen over the intake. are you using the venturi add on's? cause they can leak and inject ait even if you have them capped.

I get tiny bubbles in my tank from over feeding - whenever I add frozen food in quantities too high for the initial fedd my skimmer and powerheads emitt timy aiur bubbles. It goes away after a while and I change foods.
bubbles aren't bad as long as the fish don't get them trapped in their gills.

Okay, thats one reason that air bubbles seem to be bad for the Marine Aquarium. Air bubbles getting in the gills. I didnt know that. "Thanks"
