I hve super tiny bubbles that are comming from my wet/dry filtration system. If I cut back the water flow, they disappear, but I think that it is best to have the water circulating as much as possible? I am new to the hobby, so any suggestions will be checked out. I have checked all of the connections to make sure that they are tight, they are I do have a few pieces of PVC poie that have not been glued. Coule this be my problem. If it could, do I just use standard PVC glue, or will this harm my tank and its contents.
One more question. I have a little Giant pump. It is very hot to the touch, and I have heard that this is not good. I dont know if it needs to be oiled, replaced, or how to check it in order to fond out what the trouble is.
Thanks,
Bryan

This may sound stupid but I thought bubble in the water were good, producing more air. Help me on this one. Thanks

Check any places that the water falls kind of far, like your overflow. try to make these areas a shorter fall by adding an angled piece of acrylic or somethig like it. As far as the pump goes heat is never good, but little giants are known to run hot. make sure you have a constant water flow with not alot of air going through it.
