Tiny green ricordia

About 3 or 4 weeks ago I got some really small coral frags, one was a green ricordia mushroom. Its about the size of a penny. So I had it sitting on a rock for 2 weeks but it didn't attach the way my other mushrooms did. Its also not getting any bigger overall, though I can tell it's healthy because it does grow and shrink to the same average size(s). A red striped mushroom I got the same day attached to a rock in a couple days and is at this point more than twice the size of when I bought it.
So, I've now attached it to a small rock with a rubberband but it is still not attaching itself. Am I doing something wrong or do rics just grow/attach slower than other mushrooms? Thanks!

One option is to put the ric in your sanbed and let it attach to a clump of sand, then use some superglue gel to glue it to a rock or shell. The superglue will adhere to the sand which the ric is attached too and the sand will adhere to another substrate etc...
