I have seen tiny regal tangs about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. Are these harder to care for? How long would this fish stay a smaller size? Could it be kept in a smaller aquarium for longer?

I had one he was so cute.....but I moved him to my 240 and he got ick....I and could not cach the little guy in such a big tank full of LR took two other tangs down with him 
just make sure you don't stress him and feed a varied diet of greens and meaty

All the import stations down here when they get them in that small always tell you to feed 5 times a day, they say in the wild this small they are eating all the time. I have done this and had success all the time at my store and my customers have had success doing the same things. Just think of when you get a puppy they eat 3 times a day because they are growing same thing with the fish!
