tiny white curly Qs on glass?

uh oh! whats that mean? only thing ive added in over a month was i colony of mushrooms on a softball size rock. did that 2 days ago

can you better describe these curly Q's? i ask becuz this almost sounds like snail eggs or some sort of eggs from an invert.
If these things are tiny, tiny, tiny, and tons and tons of them, them it might be some sort of worm which was living in the rock work and has spawned.
How about a picture?

nope, they are not snail eggs; you will probably notice that they kind have a feather duster-like apendiage at the end of them...they are white & sqiggly...they are harmless filter feeders...some people consider them nuisances because they may obscure the view of the tank on front & sides...you simply scrape them off like you do algae...more info on them is at <a href="http://www.reefs.org" target="_blank">www.reefs.org</a>
