Tips for propagating Ricordea Florida?

brand new razor blade and rubber bands, cut the head off then cut into pieces, if you get a piece of the mouth on each piece it will recover faster but will still recover without the mouth. the foot will grow into one and each piece will grow into one, I usually make four pie shaped cuts. then rubberband them to a rock, you can also put them in a dish with some sand then superglue the sand to a rock once they have recovered and attached to the sand.

Well, I would not recommend the rubber bands. One of my frags slipped out and was lost in the tank.
I read somewhere to use mesh from a bag of oranges. I will try this next time.

if it already has multpile mouths on it i would just leave it alone because it is already splitting.

This statement is one of my biggest pet peves...yes I got a DSLR and good glass..I could most likely do the same with a point and shoot...A camera only takes what the photographer sees. Someone could have the best camera and lens and still take CRAP shots.

yes thats true, but i have a not so great camera , and you can only get so close and so clear without a great camera and great lenses. i still manage to get some nice pics here and there. i am in no way insulting your skill as a photographer, because to get them to come out like that , takes skill, and i applaud your talent.
