There are very few good brands of titanium heaters out there IMO.
For obvious reasons, you are soured on the visi-therm (I've seen your other thread), but have you considered Jager?

I don't have any first-hand experience, but I know I was warned against Won Pro heaters when I had my heater do the same as yours last year. I asked this question back then too, but I didn't get any suggestions. So I'm really interested in seeing what people have to say on this!

The Won heaters... I used to swear by them, but then they started failing. I've seen reports of them sticking on and cooking the tank, but what happened to me on over half of my Won heaters is they just stopped working. The Triac in the controller fails, which makes the whole heater go.

What brand are all of you guys/gals using. Any experiences with azoo???
Thanks
I just purchased an azoo 50 watt. Haven't used it yet but I am not satisfied. I plan on using 2 50w heaters. The azoo has only a 3 foot cord. Not nearly long enough to reach my electrical outlet
What am I supposed to do with it? Add an extension cord

I like the Jager brand. Not titanium but from every review I read they are just as good. I recently was looking into the titanium heaters because I upgraded to a 200G tank. I ended up getting 2 250W jagers and they are great. They seem like they are built more solid than any other heater I have seen. I have had them for a week and a half and the water temp has been a constant 79 degrees.

I've been using the ViaAqua titanium heaters (2 of them) for about 4 months now with no problems.
