Okay, I am a bit of a gadget freak... NO, a HUGE gadget freak...lol
I have always tried to hide my equipment in the aquascaping but not always easy so I just decided to let it all show...lol (Wife calls my setups, Robotanks, hehe)
I need a heater for a new tank and think the new metal heaters with remote sensor look kick@ss! My question is though... How do they work/perform. Anyone using one for some time now. Wondering about how they are holding up and how well they do at regulating the temp and all. I know they are kinda spendy in relation to the glass heaters but worth it to me for the look if they are a good heater... I have seen one made by Jalli and one made by Won.
Thanks for your help and info.... ;)

Hey glazer !
I'm using one of the Won Brothers titanium heaters and love it.
I placed it down in the sump, and the remote setting is slick. It worked fine over the winter.
You can get the one with digital temp indicator too - wish I had - but needed it fast and lfs only had the analog dial type.
It's solid state - I like that with any switch/relay I use.
So far so good. Nothing bad I can say about it except as you said - few more bucks.

Thanks broomer!
I am hitting the "add to cart" button!!.....lol
This heater is going in my 'fuge which is on a shelf above main tank.... all equipment visible. Might as well make it look cool! hehehe
(Pssst, when is the next lerp harvest, nudge nudge wink wink <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" /> )

LOL glazer :D
Lots of lerp has been given to those first in line. In other words - had to take care of the friends that know where I live, and show up with a bucket with that "give me lerp" face.
I should be ready for another major harvest in a couple few weeks.
I'll put you down if you want some ;)
