Very good news! ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate about 10 maybe 20(hard to tell the colors) Fish are doing great. NO ICH!! But I am getting those little air bubbles in the tank that drive me nuts. It was the same way in the other tank. I just can't get rid of them. They are coming from the filter. I don't use an air stone. I don't know what it's from?? I'm getting quite a bit of brown algae can't wait till he gets the chevron in. The ph is holding between 8.2-8.4. If I get by this week w/ no problems I think I might be in the clear.

I still can't get the air bubbles in the water gone. I moved the protein skimmer that only seemed to be maybe 1/4 of the problem.

Well... good news and bad news. The tank is great ALL water levels are perfect. The purple tang ended up dying. I told my LFS the problem and that the fish died and he said that fish sometimes just freak out. I don't know what could have caused him such stress. I don't think this fish was right mentally. I read about brain damage and he had some of the signs. But the cause of death is unknown. and one chromis killed the other two. So all that's left is the emperor, chromis, and manderin goby (had him since feb.) Well this weekend I think I might be getting my first fishes. I plan on getting in the next 3-4 months 10 more chromis, orangeshoulder tang, red sea sailfin, chevron, and in december I think I'm going to get another purple and sohol tangs. I also need some substract movers. anyone have any ideas?
