I received a 40g sw tank from a friend knowing very little about about this hobby. From the 3 weeks that I've been on this sight reading alot of questions, I cant believe how much I've learned. I bought a piece of live rock yesterday and had to tell the guy he had a mantis shrimp in it. I only new that because I learned about it here and saw the pics. I felt like a pro! (We got it out btw..about 2 inches long)
It seems like some of the questions are redundent but you people take it like a grain of salt...instant ocean maybe?

we are all learning everyday, no matter how long we have been in this hobby.
I am starting up another tank soon and I already have new notes that I have been taking. Kind of a refresher course.
