Should I take out bio balls and ceramic thingies???? So far all i have is 3 lbs LR, LS, 2 blue hermits, 2 pepermint shrimp and 2 snails... had to have some life in there!!! This weekend I am loading up on LR!!! Any advise is greatly appreciated!!!

Greetings and welcome to the board

Just where are your bio balls and ceramic media at?
At this point unless they need some cleaning then I would not remove them. These things contain your bacteria base and you would not want to wipe them out.
Can you explain your filtration methods? substrate? for a little more detail.
Better can you also post a pic of your nano?

I haven't altered the filter that came w/the tank. I have live sand. The directions said to take out the ceramics if the tank was going to be set up for reef... my friend who also has one said to leave them in and from what I have read... some take them out so..... :notsure: I'm confused!!!

your live rock will take the place of the ceramic whatevers and the bio balls. it's additional space for biological filtration to proliferate. be careful about adding live rock now, make sure it is completely cured or you'll have a cycle and lose your livestock.
