To break it down or not? Need some input

Just this evening I was really thinking about breaking down the last little reef.
I have a large surgery coming up and it would seriously kill my spirit if something happened to it while I am laid up. So I am thinking about just breaking the whole thing down.
I have the new tank and will be building IT when everything settles with the new move and when life settles a bit. This would also give me the time to spend in

again with no worries. I am so totally bummed even thinking about this but really it just sounds like the smartest option.
So question is to those that have Reefs,
If given the circumstances-Would you rather try to keep it through the mess? or break it down and set up again later. Say 5 months? I would be breaking it down to do a swap anyway at that time. Also the move will be soooooo much less stress without coral.
Surgery -no lifting for at least a month coming at end of this month
Moving 300 miles in approx two months
Spending extended Vacation in France Mid June-August
The little 65g is the last one left and its only about 4 years old so it can be rebuilt. I have no antiques left in it.
Comments please

break it down i had a few surgeries as of late and still might be facing a couple more 1 for sure anyway your gonna move 300 miles away (i hope you are heading north, not east to much desert in nv. and not towards los angelas) water changes are a pain in the booty when recovering and if you have a lark or any 1 of them other scooter companies

would be nice on foot it could get to you, and you will have to take it down to move anyway(feel free to send me any corals they will have a good home) what kind of surgery if you don't mind me asking? tobin :happyfish

You had caught me in posting remorse thinking I was perhaps making too much out of a dang fishtank. Should have known my fellow insomniacs would jump right on it.
Thanks for the comment SS.

Having been fighting with a leg that I broke pretty good back in November. Broke Tibia , Fibia, Femur, Patela. Tore Miniscus, Medial plica, and other little "bits" that make everything happy in there.
Can still walk (again) but this next surgery is going to be a mess since the parts arent jiving for 100% recovery. I go to physical therapy 3 days a week for months now but everything is beginning to slide backwards. Its catching inside and beginning to destroy itself again back to being unusable. I plan to walk from

[hr]
to London with a quick visit back to Holyhead while I can. I am only getting older and I know I am young but this has really mentally been right hook in my world and has become important to me.

502ci w8/71.w/125/500 daul stage No2. I have posted more in detail about this love of my life in previous threads but its a boring read if your not a gearhead. Plus last month I started a conversion to some custom worked Trickflow alums with Manley valves. Should ballpark me at 1100+hp dyno'd without No2. I might be losing 200+ hp but will be much more streetable this config and wont have to spool it up as much

It seems my e-mail is not very reliable. However I have a 125 with PC lights and room, so if you have any soft corals I could keep them for you until you are done with everything and want them back.

I can read if fair, and speak decent after a few days of being back but I without fail do this everytime. I even needed the translator for the correct spelling. I cannot write almost at all. I tend to spell phonetic when writing in French and it is basically an embarrasment, but people know.
I know my Adriot from Agosh! But I have done this halfdozen times.
I try to say this-

"Je veux savoir combien par nuit pour une pièce avec la salle de bains privée"
(I want a to know how much it costs for a room with private bathroom per night.)
And wind up saying this-

"Je veux savoir combien par nuit à dormir dans la salle de bains"
(I want to know how much to sleep in the bathroom per night.)
I also get giggled at because I do say Sall De Bain, not Vwessah or WC.

I was faced with just that scenario, since my job was taking me to a new location. The difference was, is that I really wasn't planning to reassemble the tank. I did break it down and worked very hard to find it a good home in its entirety. I must say, it was emotionally rather hard to do.
I guess its just depends on what you want to do. It sounds like you do want to break it down. As long as you feel ok with the home the fish and other animals are relocated to, then go forward.

I have always loved that little tank because of its oddball size. Hes a good guy so all is well.
I am diabolical, I am getting my friends hooked and then I will have the help I need while laid up.
