This is my first time on this site and just starting out with my 29 gallon salt water tank and my first post here. I recentley started my new tank and i purchased a Ice Cap lighting system with VHO bulbs with a 660 ballast and 4 75 watt bulbs. I am trying to see if this will be to much light on a 29 gallon tank? Please let me know thank you

I have the same size tank and asked this same question a couple days ago. I was told that you dont have problems per say for the wattage but rather the heat. I asked if there was a type of "burn" associated with too much light. I was told on here "no" but that the more wattage, generally the more heat you have and that can cause problems.
So if you can find a way to manage the heat you may be fine.

You can use a fan and blow it on top of the tank.It will cool it down.
