Will this work
ETSS Ultra High Flow UHF-96
Sump by AE Tech*
FT-AE-UHF-96
All Sumps are build to our extremely high quality standards. Oversized to provide extra water capacity and a very roomy working environment. Nothing on the market compares to these beautiful sump tanks.
All our Reef Sumps feature a constant water level inlet compartment that does not change its water height with evaporation. This is great news for modern skimmers that will now operate against the same water level regardless of sumps evaporation. Our sumps work great with all makes of skimmers, including the fabulous ETSS "Downdraft" skimmers.
An air removing chamber is standard on all our sumps. This removes all air introduced by tank drains and modern skimmers. Allowing for a bubble free tank return flow.
All Reef Sumps, except our Compact Reef Devil sump, feature a full flow chemical / mechanical filtration compartment in their center. This allows easy and effective filtration of all media placed there.
A media bag is recommended for all loose media such as carbon. A filter sponge is optional and can be used for mechanical and biological filtration.
All sumps also include 100 micro bag filter and hangar for removing coarse particulates, removing the air from tank drains and preventing sump splashing from the tank drain lines.
All "UHF-Professional Reef Sumps" also include probe and dosing holders.

o.k where to start?
first off im a HUGE fan of AE tech.. i run two ETSS 800 professionall downdraft skimmers. one on my reef tank and one on my agressive.. cant say enough about them..
with that being said.. there is no need for a ETSS sump without the ETSS skimmer..
the sumps/refugiums are specifically built for the skimmers to run properly so if you dont plan on buying the skimmer with the appropriate sump then once again your wasting money. with the sump you plan on buying the only reason to buy that is tro run the ETSS 800 skimmer.. other than that it doesnt make sense..
you would be able to easily just buy a 90 gallon tank for ALOT cheaper and turn it into somethign better if your runnign a different skimmer IMHO.
how old are you?
if you are serious about filtrating this tank i will help you as much as possible, but first worry about getting the tank and then i would be able to tell you the filtration.
im just looking out so you dont waste all of your money on somethign that is not needed

any other questions just ask away

i mean it is an option, you can do it, but as i said you would thn want an ETSS skimmer for their sump/Refugium. thats the whole reason they build them and they cost soo much.
if you want to get an etss skimmer and sump combo then do it,, for the etss 800 that i run with the ETSS sump(dont run) it would cost you around $1000.00
whereas i just bouhgt the skimmer and then built my sump EXACTLY like the ETSS sump so it works the same way...
theres lots of options you have

I love my ETSS skimmer. It works wonderfully and pulls out a ton of gunk.
I built my own sump for it to save some money, as well.

people never evan saw a real skimmer work IMO until they saw an ETSS run..
i feel very strongly about how amazing they are..
