to soon for Protien skimmer??

I have upgrated my 75 gal tank to a 90 gal tank, I used most of the water and everything else from my 75, ie: Sand 70lbs, LR 70 lbs corals and what not, I used my protien skimmer all the way up to the day I broke the 75 gal down, My 90 has been hooked up and running for a week, I have corals and some fish, Lion, 2 black clowns, Emp. Angel, Brittle star and my clean up crew, Is it too soon to run the skimmer or will it just help at this point??
I am also using a 30 gal Breeder that i made into a Fuge, I love it, Nicest one i made yet!!
Any advice would be great,

Yea, I have been reading so other thread of other site, Just to see what they say, But I always come back to this one, I was going to start it with the coral and all the other stuff that i transfer'd, I didn't think it would hurt!
