how can people say the war in iraq is going bad? we took out a dictator who killed over 100000000 people and liberated a country. The meidia is making it sound like omg the us is getting there butts kicked and alquida is getting stronger. that is complete bs. we are liberating a country,bringing peace,providing security,fighting terror. by saying we are losing in iraq u are calling the soldjers weak. they are the best in the world and we should give them support. There is so much pork in congress and there aprovial rating is lower than ever. its all about politics and not about the counrty n e more. power,lust,money. the democrats want the government to be in control of the people and they are socialists. i could say alot more but i think here is a good place to stop

I know 2 soldiers,One currently serving,ANd one served when we first invaded iraq.I believe the war in iraq is wrong,We went to invade afghanistan and ended up finishing bush seniors job.People dont realize,When the gas prices are jacked up,President Bush is making money.ANd that comment about our forces being the best.Thats obvious.WE have a bigger military budget then the rest of the world combined.(true fact).I dont understand how we can invade iraq,stay there for so long,lose so many troops,and people thinks its ok.Im sorry but fighting in the middle east has been going on since people originally populated that area.If you think were gonna invade one day and put a stop to it all you are sadly mistaken.And i love it how so many people believe in the war yet so many of you arent willing to go to iraq and put your lives on the line.Interesting........

Liberating a country??? We pushed them into a civil war!! We took out a dictator who had no ties/relationship to Bin Laden and Al Queda and now the country is overrun with Al Queda. The only reason we went in there to begin with is because Bush failed to get Bin Laden and wanted to save face in the eyes of the American people. HE DIDN'T EVEN SEND GROUND TROOPS INTO AFGHANISTAN UNTIL MONTHS AFTER 9/11. Instead he sent in air support alone and relied on the northern alliance to fight Al Queda and capture Bin Laden. The problem was that the northern alliance did not care about capturing Bin Laden for us, (and probably had no love lost for the Americans killed in 9/11).

I can never keep the Left's position straight... did we go into Iraq for oil to lower or raise prices? Seems like this argument varies from day to day based on the price of gasoline...

Who is or who has secured contracts to the oil reserves in Iraq? Just because we are not seeing increased oil production from Iraq does not mean that there is not major profit down the road. Also, who is profiting from the increased prices of gas? Board members from the major oil companies and I'd be Bush has ties to many of them, these types of people are his true constiutents.

how can u say we pushed iraq into civil war? idk if u heard but we have captured another top member of alquidea in iraq today. hmmmmm and u left wing people are saying that we are doing nothing? also that one comment made by mushroomsy about the troops is just degrading to the troops very sad. Its like this. yes alquidea took out 3000+ american people who were inocent. and yes they were under orders from binladen but iraq,syria,ect have been harboring the terrorists. its like this, if you get pulled over by a cop and the driver is smoking weed the driver is going to be arrested, also you are going to be arrested for being in the car with the person. that is just like iraq and afganistian. they both harbor them and they want to kill us. now we have taken out way way way alot more terrorists then they have taken us out. which is very sad and we cant thank our soldjiers enough for making the ultimate sacrafice. we are doing good and the iraquie prime minister wants us to stay until they are more secure which they are getting by the day.

And yes they know where Bin Laden is. International politics is a tricky thing. Thats why Bush hasn't "paraded" him around. He is hiding out, we know what country he is in. This has been confirmed by my relatives who work at the pentagon.

The difference between folks on the Left and Right scares me a little. The vast hordes in our country on both sides that refuse to learn and follow blindly terrifies me however.
If Michael Moore or Gore or a host of other loons were to say President Bush caused the Black Plague 500 years ago you'd have folks believing it.

Zactly. I thought the right was bad during Clinton but the left was determined not to be out done.
