Hello, Sorry I was so short and to the point in my last thread, I was concentrating so hard on finding answers that I forgot that it was my first post on this forum!
I am sure that is will be only one of a ton of questions for you guys so please send me any info. that you think might help.
I am not exactly a newbie, but I am just now getting back into my saltwater tanks after quite a long break. Things have definately changed!
Here is what I am wanting to do and what I have so far. I have a 20L, that I am wanting to turn into a semi reef tank. I will have a few fish, a ton of live rock, live sand, and a good lighing system, that gets picked up on the 1st. Right now I just have a the bulb that came with the tank. I have about 7 lbs of live rock, with a heater and a powerhead.
I have heard some people say that you don't need a skimmer, though it seems that a lot of others insist it is essential. What do you all think? Do you need one no matter what the size of your tank?
