Toad Stool Issues..help

I Moved My Toad Stool Today To Give It More Light And A Lil More Flow...it Was On The Bottom Of The Tank On The Sand And Now In The Middle On The Rocks. I Have Had It For A Week And It Is Still Limp. But When I Moved It Today A Milk Substance Came Off The Top Of It..not Like A Shedding Skin..looked More Like A Liquid. Any Opinions Or Suggestions On What May Be Going On Would Be Greatly Appreciated...
