Is there a preference in term's of a toad stool placement in a tank ?
I got one yesterday (picutred below). When i woke up this morning, his "head" was on the adjourning rock in the front.
Could this be due to the powerhead almost pointing at it ?
Here are 2 pic's
This is how I had put it yesterday, and how it was till I slept.

Closeup of the stool :

Now it's head is lying on the rock in the front (i'll post a pic when i get home).

They like current but not direct, not many corals do. If it were me I would put it a tad bit lower as well. Also, give it a few days to acclimate to your tank.

Thank's. I'll post it a little lower. But it opened a hell lot in the 2 hrs that i put it into the tank. I'll move it behind, and also move the power head placement.:)

I would leave it........the lighting is OK, and when you move it and change the lighting once again, it has to adjust it zooxanthellae all over again. Current is trouble? move the powerhead......not the coral. Just my thoughts anyway. Looks like it just shed....is that right?

I'm not sure if the current is trouble. but it is doing OK right now. Not good actually :( .
I recently had a bloom of brown algae and its caused it to close up :( since i reduced the hr's of light operation. I'm not sure if it just shed since the LFS had just got it a few hrs ago in a new shipment.
