Toadstool frag closed

Yet another of what looks like several postings asking about toadstools lately.....
I bought a frag from a kid - it's probably 3 inches - watched him cut it myself...kinda creepy...
Anyway - it's mounted on a rock with the toothpick/rubberband method. I brought it home, got it in the tank, in about 2 hours it was opened up. Then it closed that night when the lights went out.
Since then I have yet to see it opened up again - iot's been 4 days. This morning at about 4:30 under the moonlights it looked like a few stalks were partway up, but nothing to write home about.
Normal for a toadstool that just underwent fragging or am I missing something?
Thanks

I have three regular toadstools and they all react very badly to being moved or messed with at all, it's competely normal for them to close up and shed for weeks on end sometimes. As long as it's not falling apart, discoloring, or the like you are probably fine, they like lots of flow too so location may be a factor but seeing as it just got fragged and acclimated to a new tank it's just stressed, IMO. Good luck with it!
