Toadstool leather... is he not liking it?

I bought a medium sized toadstool leather last night. Acclimated and then put him in my tank. His polyps were out last night but today not a one. I moved him a little higher in my tank thinking that he might just not like being so low.
Is this normal for it to take awhile to really open up after being moved? When do I worry?
Parameters:
Ammonia: 0
pH: 8.3
Alk: 4.0
Cal: 495
Phos: 0.5

Mine are out, then they are in, then out, then in, then out...... yeah he won't always be out but doesn't mean anything is wrong. The more you move him the more you'll piss him off.
New coral will take some time to acclimate to new surroundings but after awhile he should be more out than sucked in. My shrimp, hermit crabs etc will walk on him and he'll pull in... or just sometimes does it on his own.

What is the unit for your Alk value? It seems pretty low.
Jack is right, stop moving it around, this piss them off. I called mine "grumpy guy" because that's eactly what he was doing at fisrt, closing his polyps withotu reasons. Still open and close all day but he seems very happy. A sign is that he is growing new polyps.
So I'd say yours should be fine about any where in the tank, just let him settle!
