Toadstool Leather question

Do all Toadstools have flower-like polyps? I have a common one and the only polyps I see are nubbin-like. Is this normal? Its been in there a couple of weeks and inflates and deflates.

depended on the light. is it close to the top of the tank?

how many watts are your lights?, he is at the top, but not at the top...you know what i mean. usually leathers have to be right under the light. nice shrooms btw, and nice leather.

My toadstool is right at the bottom of my tank and it is doing just fine! The polyps are all the way out everyday and it has doubled in size since I got it! IMO in the pic (although not that clear) It looks like it is fairl healthy!

Both of my toadstools are on the bottom. They really started to grow and open up after I got my skimmer and started to add iodine.
