toadstool mushroom just bought hasn't open yet. How long does it take?

I bought a toad stool mushroom at my LFS. He wasn't out at the store. He's attach to live rock. Look good. Doesn't have any skin flaking. They had him in a low lit tank. I have him in my tank It has 10 watt per gallon of 10,000k MH. He's at the bottom now. How long is usual before he comes out? Whats the longest one has stay in or took to acclimate. I'm sure he is fine but was curious how long is normal.

It will take it some time to adjust to your lights/parameters/inhabitants/position. I say give it about two days until it is FULLY oppened.

Toadstools are very sensitive to water quality and may not open fully for about a months time...Thats what happened with mine, it pimpled for about 2-3 weeks but never really opened ...Its been about a month and a half since i got it and since than it has fully attached to the rockwork and now is standing upright straight in the air, fully opened up!!! I think once they attach to the rockwork they open up more and stay out longer than previous, so just give it time to acclimate they are hardy species so dont worry!!
