TODAY MIGHT BE THE DAY!!!!

My wife called about an hour ago-- she is starting to leak! so her water may have broken... she's going in to the hospital for them to run some tests to make sure... so we may get to have our baby today!!!!!
The baby is posterior... so they may have to induce labor-- i guess when the baby is posterior, it does not alwaysd allow the labor to start properly.... so hopefully all goes well...
I might be a daddy today!!!!! :D
 
while in the delivery room with your wife .. if ever there is doubt remember the old bill cosby saying

I recommend getting off line and getting to the hospital. If her water has broken it will happen today! :D

Im actualyl at work-- our close frined (like our mom) is going with her for the test-- they'll call me if they induce labor--- i only have 3 days off left till august- so we want to save them for when she comes home....
But you better believe that i'll be there! hosptial is only about 10 minutes away... i can make it in 5 :D

Just got the call... we're not having the baby today... :( she is just more dialted, and still having some small contractions... they are sending her back home....
I'll keep you all posted....

I am a major fan of the jumping jacks!! that is one quick way to knock the baby out J/K
on a more serious note, congrats and good luck.
still have not figure out how may parents did not kill me. I must have been too cute <img src="graemlins//angel.gif" border="0" alt="[angel]" />

Congrats!
As an HR manager I'll throw in an aside: I don't know the size of your company, but if large enough, they must comply with the federal Family and Medical Leave Act and allow you time to spend with your wife and new baby.
Of course they don't have to pay you but they must give you time. Check with your HR department if this applies.

Yeah-- on FMLA... i would be eligible, but like you said, they dnot have to pay me... and we are living on my income... sothat wont work... :(
