I am keeping on top of this one........
I have been looking into "alternative" meals, but the lack of protein is not good. Tofu always seems to crop up in recipes.

I do! Here it is:
Food comes with it's own flavor. Anything that has to steal flavor from other food just so it can have flavor is not a food. That is a napkin.

Open up package, dump directly in toilet, flush toilet.....
Actually, It is high sodium, but I always liked it sauteed in soy sauce. Sliced thin.

yeah, see, I look at tofu every few weeks or so at the grocery store. I see it in the container in a nice little square and I think I can do something with it. But reality wakes me up and I put it down.

Firm tofu sliced thin in stir-fry is always good. I like to brown it a little before I add it in.

Tonight I cut it in big sheets and coated it in flour mixed with salt, pepper and cayenne. Fried it in a touch od sesame oil and then put it on toasted Chibata Bread with smashed avocado, chopped onion and cilantro. It was most delicious.
I use to eat soy products everyday but I'm really not allowed to eat it anymore because it doesn't mix with meds I take. But I'm going to see if I can add back a little without throwing everything off.

I didn't hear you complain when I served it last week.
But I think I need to change the title of the thread to.... oh I don't know... maybe Tofu Recipes instead of Tofu opinions. Surely I typed it wrong with the responses.
