Well I have had the same tomatoe clown for 3 years and I finally had to get ride of it. It would turn over all new corals added to my tank and it would do big burn outs in the substrate. The burn outs where ok untill I added my new sugar sized Aragamax substrate and took out the crushed coral sub. No have a false perc. Has anyone ever had there tomatoe turn over rocks and do these burn outs? It made me very mad to see it do this damage to all the new corals added. I have lost some very nice frags due to this behavior. Is this a normal thing for them to do?

I have 2 tomato clowns, and they don't do any of that.. Mine are pretty mellow..:happyfish . If you only had one, maybe he was lonely,
so he became destructive... ??? Just a thought.. Sorry to hear of you misfortune..

Not sure what you mean by burn outs but my GS maroon would stir up a sand storm all the time creating empty spots on bottom of tank. No use trying to level it out again. If I didn't like him so much, I would've traded him in.
