I am fairly new to SW so forgive me but what are the white specks on the puffer? Every one I have seen at the LFS have had the same specks and I presumed it was ich or something.
He is very cute BTW...

My puffer which I've had for several months was eating voraciously when he suddenly stopped eating for almost two weeks. He only started eating again a few days ago. I have no idea why he would do this but I'm just glad that he is eating now. During those two weeks I could tell he wanted to eat but for some reason couldn't.

I have bad news to report, I did my 1st water change and had a huge ammonia spike, I lost 2new fish and my little puffer is so stressed he has lost much of his color and is struggling to breathe, if anyone knows what I can do please help!!!! He was a little stressed for some reason before so the lfs told us to do a water change, I must have done something wrong, all my readings came out good but then a huge spike in ammonia! I hate to see him struggle but I don't know what to do all the fish stores are closed this time of night.
