Too much - cleanup crew

Have a newly cycled 55 gallon tank with some algae. I can get this cleanup crew for $40 from a reputable lfs.
Is this too many for a 55 gallon?
Is there any supplements or others needed to keep these little guys alive and striving?
25 Blue Leg Hermits
30 Atl Turbo Snails
5 Emerald Green Crabs
4 Peppermint Shrimp
for 40 bucks.

I had 10 of each nassarius and turbo snails in my 30 plus some hermits and 2 emrald crabs... so that sounds pretty good.

Heh... Where i live 40 bucks would only buy the 4 shrimp sounds like a great deal.

Do you have any LR in your tank??? It would be a good supplement for your cleanup crew if they needed more food. By tossing some food in for them if your tank is completely clean helps too. :happyfish

id sell a couple of the hermites (just my opionion) if its gonna be a reef the knock EVERTHING down, i only have one in my 55

Blue legs are too small to knock anything over unless if it's a small frag of something, that's what super glue are for! If you gonna have that many small hermits, make sure you have enough empty shells or they'll go after other hermits or snails for shells. I don't have that many hermits, just 2 good sized exotic hermits, 4 blue legged and one scarlet. Rest of it are 4 Astrea Snails, 1 Black Turbo Snail, 10 Cerith Snails, 7 Nassarius Snails, 2 Stomatellas, 1 hitchhiker snail from someone's tank(not sure what kind it is yet, a bunch of keyhole limpets, and some baby snails, not sure which kind yet, they just came out the other day, hatchlings of one of the snails.... :happyfish

only one hermit in a 55 no way. And how can they knock stuff down they are the size of a quarter.

A hermit of a size of a quarter CAN knock stuffs down depending on the size of your frag. I glue ALL my frags to pieces of rocks heavy enough so they can't move'em. :happyfish
