too much current for a 10gal Q tank

ok my cycle is almost done in my new quarantine tank and currently I have a maxi1200 and a penguin 180 HOB filter, question is, is this too much circulation for a 10gal, the tank has a painted back and bottom and pvc structures for fish to hide in, there is no rock or sand in the tank, the thing is the maxi1200 keeps the water at about 79-80 degrees so if I can keep the maxi then I don't need to get a heater which would be great

so what'd be the best way to place the maxi1200 to not disturb the fish, also is 79-80 degrees ok for a Quarantine tank?
