Too Much Current?

I JUST BOUGHT A RIO 1100 FOR MY 72GL. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW STRONG THE CURRENT WOULD BE! IT PUMPS 350 GPH, IS THIS TOO MUCH? I TURNED IT OFF BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD HURT MY FISH. JUST BOUGHT IT TODAY, SO I'M GOING TO TRY TO RETURN IT AND GET A SMALLER PUMP IF IT'S TOO MUCH.

IMO, return it and get a different brand.
Their's been alot of problems with them.

buy something other than a rio. But this size is not too much current for a 72g. Might want to go with a couple of PH totally up to this GPH or higher as current is good for the tank and won't harm most fish.

Someone once told me as long as you don't crack your glass then your fine. But seriously though I would return the Rio and get a better brand.
