Too Much Light?

Hey Gang,
This is my third tank that i am setting up. I am building a wall aquarium (hang on the wall). It will be 48"L x 20"H x 2.5"D (2.5 inches not feet). The tank is about 10-11 gal. The tank will be a Seahorse only tank (i have done much research on seahorses). I would like to use PC. The 55 Watt smartbulb will be perfect, but it is too short. 55 watts is about 22" long. My tank is 4 ft long. The 96 Watts is about 33" long. Would 96 watts be too light for my seahorses? 36" T8 flourscent would be good too, but i would like to have more than 30 watts from the flourscent. My choices are as follow:
1. 1 3 feet 50/50 flourscent @30 watts
2. 1 22" PC smartbulb (combo 50/50)@ 55 watts
3. 1 33" PC smartbulb (combo 50/50)@ 96 watts?
The tank is thin but long and deep. I will have live sand, live rocks, macroalgaes, snails, goby and 2-3 seahorses.......
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.....
