too much???

never heard of too much, what is your total gph?? i like to see 10 to 20x, in your case, 330 to 660 gph(cumalitive), as i said i have never thought it could be too much, but if you are talking 1000s, maybe

yeah, that is a bit much, maybe cut one of the powerheads, and youcna keep it for a spare, or your Q tank
which an or what gph is each one??jsut curious

i would guess, but
here is what i would do, is 2 powerheads, at lower to mid levels(pointing in opposing directions(no whirlpooling)), and one upper level(pointing at the surface), and the canister(which only creates movement at the surface, and see how that goes, yyou would probalby be fine with 2, but the 3d maynot be a big problem, if you need to, you could remove one more, or add a wave maker, which would control them at different times, giving a wave like motion to the tank(runs a cycle so that water moves in different directions always changing)
