FS 90G in San Diego...New Price..Last time offered...Sell only as a whole!! Will not break up and I am FIRM on the price. Quality Equipment.
This is my previous ad below that you may have read before. Once again, I do not wish to break it up but I am lowering the price ---- New Price $1500 FIRM. Plus the $100 if helping you move it to the Riverside/LA area and may consider helping move futher but that is negotiable (no more than 7 hours any direction driving). I must have cash in hand to go racing by 3 Jun. So if it is not sold by then it stays. I can hold the setup as long as need be for the buyer until they can arrange transport etc.
Chris
Well I have had a very interesting weekend to say the least and I have the opportunity to do something that I have missed over the years ---- Racing! I used to drive stock cars about 10 years ago and I have been talking with a close friend over the weekend and I have been given the opportunity to Race/Drive again but of a different nature this time. I could be racing a boat! For me to do this - equipment, travel, etc ...my cost for the season is going to be $3500. After discussing it with my wife, she has agreed to let me do this ONLY by choosing one hobby or another. Hence, there is this ad. To be made to choose has not been an easy decision for me...But, I must follow my heart and lack of gray matter and feel young again
So without further rambing. I will list my setup below. As many of you who frequent -- have read, I set this tank up 2.5 months ago with the idea of doing it right the first time using only quality and tried and true components. No Rio's here! I have invested over $2500 in this setup since first acquiring the tank in December and that is only by very prudent shopping! I spent almost 4 months planning and acquiring all the 'right' equipment (Dec-Mar) and another 2.5 months since getting it to where it is today.
Tank: Custom Acrylic 3'x2'x2' that is .5 inch around the sides with a black back and a .75 inch top. Black left corner overflow w/ a Durso standpipe and (2) returns in the back with Loc Lines.
Stand/Canopy: Custom made for the tank and made with Solid Oak, Oak veneers and MDF. Very sturdy and sensable construction. Access below the stand is a door on each end w/ quick release hinges for removal. Canopy is open backed for ventilation and has 1 hole on each side for fans.
Lighting: Single PFO Standard MH Ballast running a less than one month old Radium bulb. Additionally, there is a HelloLights VHO ballast running (4) 24" 75w Acentics (3 -03 and 1 white). Includes all relflectors and cords etc w/quick disconnects. Cooling is provided by (2) Icecap Variable speed fans mounted in the cutouts on the sides of the canopy.
Filtration: Sump is a Euro-Fil 180 (30g)...water comes from the Durso into a filter sock...under a baffle...to the Euro-Reef CS6-1 skimmer w/3500 Sedra Pump....under a baffle to (2) MAG 9.5 pumps for return to the tank. All plumbing is new with a mixture of rigid and flex PVC, Sched 80 unions, 40/80 balls, etc. Additional tubulence is being created with a PS 228 PH.
Live Rock/Sand - 150pds of play sand and 20 pds of Argonite mixed for a 3.5-4" bed. Seeding with an IPSF kit a month ago (Worms, LSA, etc). Liverock is a mix of 30 pds of tonga, 25 pds of Fiji and 12 pds of rubble pieces.
Livestock/Corals: Current inhabitants are a LT Tang, Bi-Color Angel, Sailfin Tang, 6-Line wrasse, Maroon Clown, Black Blenny, Sally Lightfoot, various snails and hermits, 2 Queen Conchs (small) and (2) anenomes that came on one of the pieces of tonga. Corals we just being started. Frogspawn about softball size, 2 birdsnest frags, 1 devils finger frag, 1 candy cane frag, and half dozen shrooms.
Other Equipment/Extras: Hammerhead Magnet w/extra pad/felt, Kent 24" scraper, Rainbow Lifeguard scratch kits (1 new 1 used), Tru-Vu liquid scratch kit (used), BIG Time and Temp digital thermometer/alarm, Ebo Jagr 250w heater, Half bottle of Bionic 2 part, small bottle Iodine, Bag and carbon, extra plumbing parts, glue, etc. and whatever frozen food and other parts I may have.
This setup is perfect for someone who doesn't want to make a bunch of equipment choices...just wants to buy it...bring it home...set it up and after it settles stock it with the corals they want to add. I have a small pickup and will help the buyer break it down, load into our vehicles and get it moved to your home if your within 50 miles of Santee. If your in the LA Area and want to buy this, then I ask an additional $100 to help transport it to your home and for my time. It will take my truck and your vehicle to move this (Unless you have a FS truck you might could do it)! You will need to bring CONTAINERS/COOLERS/ETC for everything inside the tank to include the water if you want it.
With everything as stated above....I am asking $1750 FIRM for this whole setup and local assistance. I DO NOT desire to break this up and ship it all over the US. IF someone wants to buy it and then part it out, its on you. As I said, I have spent well over $2500 on this so far so your getting a very nice break on the price and its all QUALITY!
Please, no Lowball or Insane offers. The $1750 price is extremely FIRM and I will not lower it. IF it doesn't sell, I don't race and I still have an awesome tank. I am serious about selling a great setup; Please be serious about purchasing one. I have taken many digital pictures of this tank and they are posted all over --. Here is one showing the full setup as you walk in my front door. If there is anything specific you want to see pictures of or have any questions regarding specific items just e-mail or PM me.
I am ready to race...are your ready to own a great reef?
