If you can find a quality torch coral from you local fish store torch's can adapt realtivly easy to the home aquaium. While picking out one from you local shop look for it to be fully extended. Check base area for tissue resention. Lighting requirements are VHo, P.C' or metal halides. If using halides make sure you raise them so you dont burn the coral. Water movement should be low to medium and overal difficult is a 5 out of 10. They are a hard coral so calcium levels should be no less then 400ppm. they are available in both green and brown. Green being less readily available therefore commanding a higher price. Reproducing is either through budding or spawning. Reproduction on a well run reef tank is quite common through budding. Another good choice is a frogspawn coral.
