I got a clarkie clown yesterday and it has a torn fin.....will it heal?

if all it is is a torn fin, then yes, it will heal. I recomend feeding some garlic though, just to boost his amune system and make sure he doesnt get sick. Just put a fresh, cut up clove in with your normal frozen foods, if that is what you feed him. Let it sit to get all the juices out, and then take it out and feed. But if it is more than a torn fin, it could be fin rot. In which case, the fins will look like they are eroding away. Which one is it?

i would put melafix in the tank to help the fin out.

it's doesn't look like it is eroding away...it looks like a frayed fin.
