Thought I'd share. Bought a new feather duster about a month ago. It threw its crown after about two days. I've had them do this before and they died. As the tube got real mushy. This one however stayed real firm, so I thought it might still be alive. Kept checking it for about a month and it stayed real firm. Well, this morning woke up to a brand new crown peeking out. It still a little shy and hasn't stayed out for very long, but it's there and he lived! I had heard that once they throw the crown, it's all over for them. Well I have proof that it isn't always so...
