Phytoplankton is an excellent source of food for a reef aquarium.
Phytoplankton is the bottom of the ocean's food chain.
By adding this to the aquarium you are essentially feeding your whole tank!!
It will directly feed your clams, sponges, and gorgonians.
It will also feed microscopic organisms that your corals will eat.
It will be able to stay alive in your fridge for about 3 months. You will need to shake the container every day or so to suspend the phytoplankton that has settled to the bottom.
