transfering from qt to main??

i was just wondering that i live mainly at school about an hour away from home where my tank is. if i bought a fish where im at for school and quarenteen there would it do any good if i had to bring the fish back an hour and a half to get it into the main tank. im not sure if the person that takes care of my tank and feeds it would be too happy having to qt a fish and watch the alk and ph daily but if the hour and 30min trip would be too long they might have to i guess

It should be fine. Use a large ziplock baggie with a good amt of water. Keep the bag insulated. Don't stop or leave the bagged fish in the car while you grab a bit to eat or whatever. Drive straight thru.

yeah i was plannin on using a big bag and a small icechest keep it at the same temp as best i could and in the dark
