transferring liverock ?

A pretty basic question but I want to make sure. We're moving our 100gallon tank today. We have 10 gallons of ro water that was meant for a water change. If I mix salt into this water to match the salinity of our tank, is it ok to put the liverock in these buckets during the transfer? Everything has to come out of the tank before we move it and the oak stand into another room. I wouldn't attempt this with fish or inverts - they will go into rubbermaid containers with tank water, but for liverock, I'm not positive if this would shock or kill off some of the good stuffs on it, KWIM?

why don't you just use water from your main tank to cover the live rock during transport??? the water needs to come out of the tank anyway to move it.
