Transporting Fish

Im moving from Illinois to Florida and im thinking about transporting my fish with me rather than over night them to myself.
Its going to be a 17 hour drive and im thinking of bringing my fish individually bagged in a cooler with ice packs if needed.I plan on keeping a bag of water with a thermometer in it to monitor temp.
Once i arrive Ill have enough freshly mixed saltwater to temporarily keep my fish in a 75 gal until i get my 125 setup and stabilized, but it may take me a extra hour or two to get the 75 unpacked filled .
Thoughts......Experiences.....??
TIA

Nope.I could pick up a power inverter and a small cheap air pump to saturate the water in route once or twice if needed I suppose.
I just dont know how long my fish could survive in transit.I have nothing to compare with time wise.Like overnight shipping for example, how long are fish actually bagged while being shipped?
