treating with LR and LS

well my fish have ich....i was using a 10g tank for a q.t. tank... ive got a naso, purple tang 3 angeles one clown...so all theses g usy would not fith into my 10g so i have to treat them in my display tank. the only thing i can think of is doing coppersafe...but ive head it stresses out the fish ...would love another suggestion on how i could go about getting rid of the ich

don't use copper in the display and take out the LR and LS if you can. or jsut go and buy a few rubber made containers to put your fish in and treat in those

ive got my tank at work in teh office so there really isnt room to put another container......i was thinking about taking out the live rock and some of the live sand and using some sort of chemical treatment...oh btw why is copper so bad ?
