Tree sponges

I have 2 large red and orange tree sponges that look as if they are gonna grow out of the tank...can they be cut (propagated) and the pieces placed around the tank? many thanks for your help hondaboi2000@aol.com

yeah sponges are fairly easy to propagate, take a new shark razer blade and slice out the desired pieces, and then stick them in where you want them in the tank..just be sure nothing touches air. thats all there is to it!
