trigger aggression toward tang

i have a niger trigger and it keeps pushing and chasing my tang. the tang has some spots on its belly i think may be from stress. is the only way to keep these fish from fighting is to get rid of on?

The trigger is going to get more and more violent until he kills the tang.
IMO get rid of the trigger. You have far more options of fish that go with a Tang than a Trigger, particulary your Niger with an ostensibly bad attitude.

I have a Hawaiian trigger with a Kole tang, coral beauty, Maroon clown, and Diamond goby. So far he has not made any advances on them but he does try to hog all the food. If he does attack any of them he is gone. Until then I will continue to train him to roll over for food. Triggers are smarter then the average fish.
