Trigger eating chicken?

Is it ok for triggers or any fish to eat chicken?
Someone at a pet store told me he feeds his triggers chicken

I don't know anything about feeding chicken, but I do know not to do something just because the lfs does it.

My thoughts (and i keep 2 triggers) are since there are no chickens in the sea, dont feed fish chicken.
Simple Enough and thats how God did it!
I only feed my fish ocean stuff.

But seriously, I would not feed my triggers any foregin materials.

Fish can die of bloat when their digestive track has problems passing certain foods. If you feed it raw there couldbe problems with bacteria in the meat affecting your trigger. If you cook it then youve killed about 65% of the protein that chicken meat provides.

Well put it this way. Do you see chickens in the sea? (except tuna). Then I wouldnt. If its not something that naturaly swims in a salt or reef environment I wouldnt.
