trigger fish

I just picked up a tank that had a small trigger in it.I brought the tank home and I want to keep the fish alive long enough to get him back in the tank.Any help would be great,Thanks, ROB I have him in some water that was in the tank,but it's sunday and can't find a pet store open to get sea salt.

If you have one....keep an airpump in there or atleast a powerhead to keep the water moving....I was without power for a week with the hurricane and my battery operated airpump saved my tank...good luck
