If a trigger in the ocean gets bit by another prdator and it clips its fins or maybe a part of the body bothing serious just a nip...can the trigger survive ? will its finds and scales grow back ? and will its blemesh heal like a humans ? or dio they permantly have those scars.
just an intresting question.

Triggers have a very hard scale. It is VERY hard for thier flesh to be bitten into. I have personally seen a large fimbriated eel take an 8" niger in its mouth and shake it violently till it let the trigger go. There weren't even marks on the trigger from the eels teeth.
THe scars will heal they are very heardy fish.

Very true statement above, my 10" porcupine got a hold of my 4" pinktail and not even a scratch on him, and my porky eats hermit crabs like sunflower seeds!
