I hate the way common names are so confusing. I have had the Picasso triggerfish listed on the species part of this site, but apparently there is another trigger also called Picasso...but is different. It's called the rectangle triggerfish, and is the state fish of Hawaii. Both of these triggers have the long Humuhumunukunuku...hawaiin name, and both live there. They ARE diff. species and one (rectangle) has a black rectanlge shape on it's side. How can I tell when some people are talking about the rectangle or picasso trigger? Thanks for your help w/ this complication.
