Alright I got a few weeks left before I am headed back to florida from my deployment and I want to upgrade my skimmer and refugium. Has anyone ever used or currently using refugiums made by trigger systems??

Honestly I've seen the dumps and such and they are nice, but if your handy you could do a nice custom sump/Fuge cheaper IMHO, and a better skimmer than theirs as well. Reef Octopus skimmers!!!
We was having the same thought. I ordered the Reed Octopus Extreme XS 160. It was recommend by a friend here with me that has one. I did some research on it and like it as well.

Honestly I've seen the dumps and such and they are nice, but if your handy you could do a nice custom sump/Fuge cheaper IMHO, and a better skimmer than theirs as well. Reef Octopus skimmers!!!
We was having the same thought. I ordered the Reed Octopus Extreme XS 160. It was recommend by a friend here with me that has one. I did some research on it and like it as well.

I was looking at the Reef Octopus Extreme XS 160. How does it compare to the SWC brands? I heard that they are similar. Is that right?
Might not be a bad choice to DIY the sump and spend the extra money on the skimmer like Acrylic said. Good luck!!
