I have a blue throat trigger and have had him for 2 months and he was eating like a pig. He stopped eating 4 days ago I was feeding him shrimp and today I tried to feed him scallops and all he does is spit it out never has he ever missed a meal. The water levels for ammonia and nitrites are at 0 , ph 8.0 and the nitrates are high at 40 but those levels seem to be normal from when hes been in there so I dont see the nitrates being a big issue with his feeding habit. He has two tankmates one is a V.Lion Fish and the other a hermit crab and all are fine together no fights of any kind. His stomach is now starting to get the pinched look so its time too start worry about his survival. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
