Triggers and Lions

Someone told me that you can't mix Lions and Triggers.... So I wasn't ever thinking about getting the two together.... but I have read a few things about compatibility and the different species of fish and they state that you can mix the two
and what about adding a different kind of Lion w/ the one I have? (Lg Vltn. Lion)
Or adding another Puffer? I read that they don't mix.
and what kinda clean up crew can I have w/ the guys I have in my tank? (Vltn Lion, Snowflake Eel, Porc. Puffer)

triggers depending on species will almost always kill a lion, maybe not now, not tomoro, not the day after that, but eventually it will kill the lion. puffers, theyre iffy, depending on individual it may tear the lion to shreads or it may sleep w/ the lion

As for the cleanup crew, the only thing I can think of would be the large hermit crabs, and even those may not last with a large puffer.

I have kept nigers and blue throats over the years with volitans with out any problems all though a closer eye must be kept on the nigers becuase they are individuals I had one just as nasty as a undulated.If your tank is large enough and fish are of equal size preferbly the lion larger (not too much dont want a trigger meal) give it a shot.

If you want to add another lion to the tank make sure it is not to small, a Volitan will eat a dwarf lion if it is to small, I have never had any problems adding a smaller volitan with a large volitan.
